WDGAH is still on!

All is well at the Fireside Inn & restaurants. However, many roads in southern Vermont, MA, and NY have closures or poor conditions.  But don't forget there are some great routes into New Hampshire and Maine, and we've added two versions of a great northern Vermont route. See the ROUTES page for more info!

Whichever route you choose, please use CAUTION. There is still a good possibility that some gravel washouts and debris may remain in some roadways.  

The Annual Northeast Gathering of VFR owners - Celebrating 15 years of great riding and great times

15th ANNUAL WDGAH RIDE

It's hard to believe, but for 15 years now, WDGAH has been the annual northeast gathering of VF/VFR owners. From just a few people meeting to ride for a weekend in '97, the event has come to include riders from all over the northeastern U.S. and Canada, from as far away as Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Quebec, Ontario, and the Atlantic Provinces. Why "WDGAH"? It stands for "We Don't Give A Hoot" - a quip that came from one of the event founders. It was a good-natured play on the Honda Hoot, as well as a comment on the occasional riding behavior of some of the attendees.

This is an informal event! No fees, no schedule, no organization. We negotiate a group rate at a hotel, and gather for dinner at a local restaurant -- but this is just a bunch of  enthusiasts getting together to have a good time.  It's an opportunity to meet fellow riders and enjoy our passion for motorcycling and Honda's V-4. (All makes and models are welcome, however).  More on WDGAH history here.

There is no formal sign-up. If you want to find a roommate or meet others for the ride in, post to the VFR Google Group (VFR list) and/or VFRdiscussion.com.

• Reservations: You MUST make Reservations at least one month in advance (by Aug 9) in order to receive the "VFR Group" rate.

Friday Early-Bird BBQ

Once again Bryan Roth has invited everyone to his house for a Friday afternoon barbecue. This is one of the highlights of WDGAH - we suggest you don't miss it! Information and directions are on the barbecue page.  If you plan to attend, please sign up using the link below so we can keep a headcount and Bryan can plan for the food.

Saturday Dinner

The Saturday group dinner at Lui Lui's has been a highlight of the WDGAH event. Lui Lui's is just a short stroll from the Fireside Inn. We have a group reservation for 7:00. If you plan to attend, please sign up using the link below so we can keep a headcount.

The Seven Barrel Brewpub is located across from the hotel, and is the traditional evening gathering spot.
