What
is WDGAH?
This is the annual northeast gathering of VF/VFR listers. From just a few
people meeting to ride for a weekend in '97, the ride has come to include riders from all
over the northeastern U.S. and Canada, from as far away as Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio,
Tennessee, Quebec, Ontario, and the Atlantic Provinces. This is an informal event! No fees, no schedule, no
organization. We negotiate a group rate at a hotel, and gather for dinner at a local
restaurant -- but overall this is just a bunch of enthusiasts getting together to
have a good time. It's an opportunity to meet fellow riders and enjoy our passion
for motorcycling and Honda's V-4. (All makes and models are welcome, however). More on WDGAH history here.
Note: there
is no formal sign-up. However, if you think you will attend, please drop me an email, so we can estimate attendance
for the BBQ and dinner reservations. If you want to find a roommate or meet others for the
ride in, post to the VFR Google
Group (former VFR list) and/or VFRdiscussion.com.
Current attendee list is here.

Friday
Barbecue
Once again this year Bryan Roth has
invited any and all WDGAH attendees to his house for a Friday afternoon barbecue. For
those who can make it, this is one of the highlights of WDGAH. Directions available on the
barbecue page. If you are planning
on attending, please let us know via the sign up page (when available) so Bryan can plan
for the food needed.
Saturday
Group Dinner:
The Saturday group dinner at Lui Lui's
has been a highlight of the WDGAH event. Lui Lui's is just a short stroll from the
Fireside Inn. Rather than set up a group dinner as in the past, this year we will be
making a group reservation and heading over together, probably about 7:30. Please let me know via email if you plan on attending the dinner
and want to be included in the reservation.
The Seven Barrel Brewpub is
conveniently located across the parking lot from the hotel and is the traditional Friday
evening gathering spot. You may want to bring earplugs for the noisy live bands they seem
to have!
Route suggestions:
The Routemeister David Thompson's recommended routes are here, in PDF and GPS files. Few riders know and have
documented as many good roads as the Routemeister.
